Elaine Fine Art is only interested in hand signed and numbered limited edition work.
If you have a print and do
not see a pencil signature "Norman Rockwell", in script, in
the lower right margin, as well as either a letter or number in the lower
left hand margin opposite the signature, i.e. "AP" x/200 or
x/ XXXV, you have a reproduction of some sort.
This information would NOT be hidden by a mat, but would
be visible framed.
It would be highly unusual for a framer to hide this information with
a mat.
We advise ebay for plates, figurines, posters, reproductions on canvas
and all Saturday Evening Posts, whether the entire magazine or just the
cover.
